Meet Ayse Karslioglu, Dental Assistant
Ayse, or Suden as she prefers to be called, found her passion in the health industry after a lifelong interest in psychology, human development, and wellness. “I also have had a creative side since I was young that sometimes didn’t mix with the health industry (or so I thought).”
In 2024, Suden was looking for jobs and came across a dental assistant position here at The Dentl Studio. At first, she was unsure if it was for her, but as soon as she started looking more into it, Suden knew she’d love the new role. “The team I work with makes me love the job even more; it doesn’t even feel like a job most days.” She also appreciates that the position helps her to use her creative mind.
Suden completed her Certificate III in Makeup and has future aspirations to further her qualifications in dental assisting. She graduated from Chisholm TAFE in 2024.
For Suden, the most fulfilling aspect of her role is knowing she gets to help people. She also appreciates that her job never gets boring as she always has something to do. Her tasks include sterilising instruments, helping assist clinicians by suctioning and providing them with their needed tools, restocking, cleaning the clinic, and sanitising after patients.
Beyond the Dental Chair
When she’s not at the practice, Suden loves to cook, shop, bake, clean, practice self-care, play with her cats and study her religion—Islam.
